Help Youth Through Golf is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that focuses on the development and enhancement of youth through golf. The HYTG golf learning programs can help stimulate self worth, enhance good character, reinforce morals and values; and help participants reach their goals in life.
Help Youth Through Golf is dedicated to reach out to every child that wishes to play golf, without the burden of high cost instructions and equipment. We make it affordable for everyone to get exposed to golf and provide a structured and safe environment.
Help Youth Through Golf offers fun while learning the game of golf and will also create an environment that is full of excitement and friendly competition.
Since it’s inception in 2011, HYTG has consistently given back to the youth in the middle schools of the Compton/Long Beach/Paramount area. To date HYTG has active and ongoing programs in 8 of the 9 middle schools that represent more than 95% of the children that attend Compton Unified School District.
In addition to the 20-25 compensated instructional hours provided on site at the various middle schools, Luis conducts, at no charge, two-hour weekly lessons at the Compton Par 3 Course.
